Next Meeting Date and Topic:
To Be Determined
11:30am - 1:30pm
Quality Inn & Suites, Madison - 2969 Cahill Main, Fitchburg, WI
Topic:
(From last meeting on 10/2): Exporting Design Data from Eagle Point into Civil 3D
Are you an Eagle Point user sharing data with a Civil 3D user? Are you looking for a way to convert projects from your legacy software? Louisa Holland will explain the steps needed to accomplish the transition from Eagle Point software to Civil 3D.
She will discuss compatibility issues and best practices for moving data between the software packages as smoothly as possible.
(Also from last meeting): Creating Cross Sections Using Data Shortcuts
Russ Nicloy will discuss the steps needed to create cross section sheets outside of your main design drawing. There are several advantages to creating cross section sheets in a separate drawing from your main design.
- Drawing sizes are smaller.
- Multiple users can work on cross sections while changes are made to the main design.
- You can use separate scales in the different drawings to make Cross-section layout more user-friendly.
