Summary
This class will introduce you to the main features and functionality of TimeLiner and Clash Detective found in Autodesk® Navisworks® You will learn how to open and append 3D files of different formats and save in NavisWorks format. You will create links to object properties files and scheduling files in external databases. You will perform visual project model reviews using the built-in review and reporting tools. You will also learn how to create construction simulations of a project model to check validity of construction schedules
Who should Attend
This course is meant for new Autodesk Navisworks 2009 users for the review, 4D simulation, clash testing and timeliner.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the student have a working knowledge of:
- Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® Vista.
- Drafting, design, or engineering experience.
- It is recommended that you have a basic understanding of 3D design and task scheduling software
