Summary
The Basic Template Creation training class will cover the basic essentials for creating a template for project use in the company environment.
BIM managers will learn the basic principles of creating company specific templates. Review the modification of template settings, including line weights, materials and fill patterns. Begin to understand the creation of design options, phases, and view templates as well as tags and title blocks.
Who should attend
CAD/BIM Managers or employees with the responsibility of managing the Revit environment in their company.
This course is intended for beginning to intermediate users of the Autodesk Revit Platform including architects, engineers, designers, architectural product manufacturers, facilities planners, drafters and others needing to create templates with Revit.
Objective
To review and understand the basic setup of a Revit template.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the user of this manual has a working knowledge of a recent version of the Windows operating system.
The student must have gone through the Revit Essentials class for architectural, structural or MEP engineering.
