Summary
AutoCAD® Civil® 3D is a powerful application for civil engineering design. Although it runs in the familiar AutoCAD® environment, the program is based on a dynamic engineering model that contains all of the core geometry and integrates all of the data. When you make a change to the design, Civil 3D automatically updates the related objects, views, annotations, tables, etc. Keeping all design elements synchronized is therefore greatly simplified.
In this course you will learn to create and edit points, alignments, and profiles, and create and analyze surface data. You also will perform corridor modeling, create subassemblies and cross-sections, and perform grading operations. This course uses both imperial and metric data in practical applications that teach essential AutoCAD Civil 3D concepts.
Who Should Attend
Anyone who plans on implementing Civil 3D functions along with the traditional CAD drafting tools should attend this class. Land Planners, municipal and city engineers or those interested in accessing extended information from their CAD drawings. This is an excellent class for new hires, for those who are first going to AutoCAD Civil 3D or for those who are returning users.
