Summary
This four day hands-on course will introduce the students to the concepts, commands, and techniques of Autodesk® Inventor® . You will learn the fundamental concepts, commands and techniques for creating and documenting designs using Autodesk Inventor. You will learn to create 3D parametric parts, assemble them, and generate drawings.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for anyone who plans on using Autodesk Inventor including Mechanical Designers/Drafters was well as Engineering Managers. This is a good class for all beginning users including new hires who intend to establish a solid foundation with Autodesk Inventor.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the student have a working knowledge of:
- Microsoft® Windows® XP or Microsoft® Windows® Vista.
- Drafting, design, or engineering experience.
Objectives
Upon completion of the class, the student will be able to create 3D drawings using parts and assemblies. The students will cover how to assemble components with constraints and create layouts complete with bill of material and balloons. We recommend 20 to 40 hours of practice a class in order to reinforce these new skills.
