Summary
This hands-on class is a continuation of the KeyCreator Level 1 class and will cover advanced modeling functionality found in KeyCreator. The advanced lessons learned include, but are not limited to, creating primitives, swept solids, modifying solid models, advanced detailing, complete layout mode review, boolean operations, sheet metal functionality, surfacing, modifying solid model appearances, and tool/die functionality.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for Mechanical Designers/Drafters as well as Engineering Managers who have completed the KeyCreator Level 1 class.
Objectives
Students will be exposed to advanced sketching and modeling techniques that will make them more proficient. We recommend 20 to 40 hours of practice after class in order to reinforce these new skills.
Prerequisites
It is recommended that the student have a working knowledge of:
- Microsoft® Windows® XP, or Microsoft® Windows® Vista.
- Completion of KeyCreator Level 1 class combined with approximately 80 hours working with product.
- Drafting, design, or engineering experience.
