Summary

This class features assemblies and bills of materials (BOMs) functionality found in KeyCreator. The lessons learned include, but are not limited to, creating assemblies from existing components or solids already in assembled locations, generating exploded views of the created assemblies, and generating bills of materials (BOMs) for assemblies.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for Mechanical Designers/Drafters as well as Engineering Managers who desire knowledge in the areas of assemblies and BOM within KeyCreator.

Objectives

Students will be exposed to techniques in creating assemblies of solid components, exploded views of those assemblies, and the use of BOM in conjunction with assemblies.

Prerequisites

It is required that the student have a working knowledge of:

  • Microsoft® Windows® 2000, or Microsoft® Windows® XP
  • Working knowledge of KeyCreator and the creation of solids within the software
  • Drafting, design, or engineering experience

Each Student Receives

  • Telephone support on training topics for 30 days
  • Certificate of Training Course completion
