The DM60 is user-friendly and achieves consistent coloring results to meet the requirements for high-value, end-use products. Simply insert parts, choose a color cartridge and press start.
The raw polymer parts are dyed in a water bath under pressure and heat in the DM60. During the DeepDye Coloring (DDC) process, the color pigments and chemicals from the color cartridge react with the surface of the raw parts and infiltrate into their pores. This way the dye reaches areas that otherwise would not be covered via spray painting. A stirrer at the bottom ensures that the parts don’t stack and all surfaces are accessible. The typical penetration depth of the dyes is around 0.2 mm. All process parameters and temperature curves can be adjusted according to material and finish properties.

Every color shade is possible on white raw material. Choose between three color options: 17 DyeMansion standard colors, RAL/Pantone colors and customized or corporate color options.
Submerged in a water bath, our dyes penetrate the plastic through a chemical reaction using heat and pressure. No material layer is added and the surface is colored homogeneously with our sophisticated DeepDye Coloring (DDC) process.
Our color cartridges provide a contact free and clean dyeing process with no manual pigment handling. Color cartridge sizes range between a volume of 10 to more than 50 liters. An integrated cleaning program ensures fast color changes.
Both the complete DyeMansion 'Print-to-Product' workflow and every single step are compatible with most of the technologies and materials used in powder-bed additive manufacturing. All process parameters and temperature curves can be adjusted to individual needs.
