MasterGraphics is looking for a high energy, high activity consultative INSIDE SALES / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT professional to help grow our additive manufacturing and 3D print business.  Celebrating our 72nd year of business, MasterGraphics is a well-established, solid organization with a number of untapped business opportunities for our 3D print and additive manufacturing solutions.  Our offerings include everything from traditional prototype printers to solutions geared for direct production applications.  Our focus is on transforming manufacturing with the utilization of additive manufacturing.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Product Set:  Business development will focus on innovative and industry-leading 3D print solutions from HP and 3D Systems©.  While offerings include professional-level 3D printers for prototyping this position will have an emphasis on the production additive manufacturing market.  The production focus will include solutions for plastic and in the future metal 3D printing.  Our strength is moving towards production 3D print and our solution set supports uniquely positioning us to be a leader in this realm. 
  • Target Customers:  Manufacturing clients with prototype and production needs to reduce time to market, lower cost, improve competitive edge, and be more innovative. 
  • Territory:  This position would preferably be based in one of our WI offices (covering a territory throughout Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Minnesota).  This territory comes with existing clients however the emphasis is on developing new opportunities.  Initially, most job duties will be accomplished internally but future growth could possibly include outside account management.
 
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Leverage existing customers to uncover new-in-house 3D printing opportunities.
    • Prospect and develop new markets and customers — this position comes with prospects but you must have a passion for prospecting and developing new business.
    • Utilize CRM and market automation to manage activities and organize territory.
    • Maintain a solid knowledge of the various design phases in product development and associated manufacturing processes.
    • Develop long-term relationships and establish MasterGraphics as a trusted 3D Print technology business partner.
    • Move opportunities forward by recommending systems and services that enhance the manufacturing process.

QUALIFICATIONS WE'RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered, candidates must have:

  • 3+ years of recent inside or outside, B2B sales experience where consultative sales in the primary function of your role
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment — with an emphasis on the design to manufacture process.

Candidates most likely to move forward in the interview process will have sales experience and industry knowledge/familiarity with products that are related to this position.  Additional qualifications we're looking for include: 

  • Experience with Rapid Prototyping (RP) and Direct Digital Marketing (DDM) with 3D printers and prototype services
  • Experience with the CAD/CAM industry
  • A proven track record of solutions sales success.  We're looking for a consultant with experience partnering with customers — not a transactional hardware sales rep.
  • Experience or training based on Sandler principles
