A SYMPHONY OF DYES AND MATERIAL
The raw polymer parts are dyed in a water bath under pressure and heat in the DM60. During the DeepDye Coloring (DDC) process, the color pigments and chemicals from the color cartridge react with the surface of the raw parts and infiltrate into their pores. This way the dye reaches areas that otherwise would not be covered via spray painting. A stirrer at the bottom ensures that the parts don’t stack and all surfaces are accessible. The typical penetration depth of the dyes is around 0.2 mm. All process parameters and temperature curves can be adjusted according to material and finish properties.
LIMITLESS CHOICE OF COLORS
COMPATIBLE WITH ALL POWDER-BED TECHNOLOGIES, SELECTED MATERIALS AND FINISHING OPTIONS
Both the complete DyeMansion ‘Print-to-Product’ workflow and every single step are compatible with most of the technologies and materials used in powder-bed additive manufacturing. All process parameters and temperature curves can be adjusted to individual needs.
